HMS Belfast was a Royal Navy Town-class light cruiser and one of the most famous surviving warships of the Second World War. Launched in 1938, she was built to protect trade routes, escort convoys, and fight enemy cruisers with a powerful main battery of twelve 6-inch guns. Her war nearly ended early: in November 1939, she struck a German magnetic mine and was so badly damaged that repairs took almost three years. When she returned, Belfast was stronger than before, with improved armor, radar, anti-aircraft weapons, and a widened hull for better stability. Small pin hole near top and glue residue on the back.
